Valentino Couture Spring 2014

Good morning :)
Valentino designers  Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, like always, did an amazing job with the new collection of couture spring 2014. This was by far my favourite collection from the Paris runways.

Here is my opinion about this stunning collection:
What I really loved about this collection was that most of the dresses were covered  in lace and the short frothy tulle ballerina dresses which have as much innocent romanticism as their long ones. This whole collection was sophisticated and classy., the models makeup had a lot of contouring and hightligher but at the same time looked very plain and chic.

Ps:   Walk one of these dresses into a room, and you are going to steal the show, guaranteed!

Chanel Spring 2014 Couture

Good Morning loves !!!
Here are my choices from  the Chanel Spring 2014 runway, Paris
What i can say about this collection is that Karl Lagerfeld did an excellent job on this  Spring 2014  collection in my opinion of course.  I just loved all the looks , to be honest , it was so hard to pick just 8 looks.
What I really like about this collection was that he created most of the looks  fitting very nicely around the waist,  and also some of the skirts were mid-length.

Nothing better than to  have  Karl  himself explaining the collection in detail

“There are two tendencies,” Karl explained during a weekend preview that provided an unmatched opportunity to study those remarkable textiles and embellishments in the hand, “very androgyne and boyish, and very feminine. But no stiletto, no platforms, no Louboutins!” Instead, the clothes had a uniquely modern feeling as each look was matched with flat sneakers (made by the custom shoemaker Massaro, naturally) in patchworks of fabrics and embroidery—“It gives it a different attitude,” explained Karl—and during the show, his girls were encouraged to run and skip down the grand horseshoe staircase, suggesting something of the sense of liberating freedom that was Coco Chanel’s great contribution to early-twentieth-century fashion. “I think it’s quite chic, the couture run, no?” posited Karl.  ( www.vogue.com)

Christian Dior Spring 2014 Couture

Hey loves,
Today is all about the Christian Dior fashion show which took place this past monday at Rodin Museum, Paris.

The pictures below are my 15 favourite looks i choose from the 52 Dior spring 2014 couture runway show. These are the ones that I picked, I would wear them to any function. Hope you guys like it!

On his fourth runway show for the fashion line Dior,  Raf Simons dazzled with the combination of high fashion and sports, most of the looks were party dresses with a mix of different  fabrics and textures. The colours were mostly white and black, so ladies as you can see, white and black will still be on the shelves for this spring. Last but not least are the awesome shoes, just take a second to look at the details of the shoes, i don't even need to describe how beautiful the shoes are, also i love that he mixed white outfits with silver shoes, its a perfect combination....

More posts to come about Spring 2014 Couture, Paris
          XOXOXO
